ABT Oil and Gas is renamed Marginal Field Development Company

We are pleased to announce that we have formally changed our name from ABT Oil and Gas to Marginal Field Development Company, or MFDevCo for short.

Our focus remains the same as when we established ABT many years ago: to provide solutions which can dramatically reduce the costs associated with oil and gas production. However, having advanced not only the range of production facilities we offer but also the expertise and support we provide to maximise recovery from these valuable resources, we felt it was time to change our name to accurately reflect how much we’ve grown.

Together with the Marginal Field Delivery Consortium (‘MFDConsortium’), the collaboration of oil and gas specialists we established last year, MFDevCo provides a fully integrated solution to develop and deliver marginal or stranded hydrocarbon projects. Combining our technology and services, MFDevCo and MFDConsortium can support the entire asset lifecycle from project identification, concept selection and financing through to operation and decommissioning.
